We celebrated our honeymoon in Rome this past July (2008) and had the best meals ever at this restaurant! The staff is wonderful and the food is unbelievably delicious! We are sad that distance keeps us from eating here every week. Thank you for a memorable experience and we recommend this restaurant to everyone we know who visits Rome! Bravo!

Siamo stati diverse volte alle fratte, per noi il ristorante migliore in tutta Roma. Abbiamo festteggiato il nostro anniversario di 25 anni insieme ai nostri migliori amici, e siamo ritornati l´anno dopo, a marzo, con un terribile tempo. A proposito, ho dimenticato il mio umbrello lá...meglio tornare un´altra volta per ricercarlo... Alla prossima...

We went there while on our honeymoon in June 2007 and we were made so welcome, the food was great as was the atmosphere. When we are next in Rome we will definately be going again.

The Alle Fratte is the place to enjoy a great meal. We dined here in May of 2007 and it had to be one of our most memorable dinners while in Italy. Francesco and his wife(who is from Long Island, New York) made our group feel at home and prepared for us the freshest antipasto, delicious arugala salad, 3 different pastas, rice balls, the tastiest house wine and then to top it off, we had 3 different desserts. We felt as if we were dining with family in a very relaxed atmosphere. All this and our bill was so reasonable at $70 per couple. We can't wait for our next trip to Rome so we can visit our new friends again. We tell everyone we know in the U.S. who is visiting Rome, to dine here for a "delectable" Italian meal. BRAVO!
