Cibo migliore di tutte le altre trattorie e ristoranti visitati sia a Trastevere che nel resto di Roma, per non parlare dei posti visitati prima in Francia, a Nizza o Parigi, o Londra, in UK. Il cameriere Giuseppe di Napoli assolutamente fantastico! Le portate perfette, romane, e buonissime. Clima accogliente e senza pretese. After escaping the trap of the ubiquitous Tonnarello restaurants in Trastevere I was lucky enough to walk past this place. The outdoor dining vibe was so much more sincere and welcoming that I had to go in. What a great decision! Excellent service by the owner himself, who was kind and jovial, not condescending and willing to indulge me in my poor Italian. I had the oxtails in sauce - omg I was so full but it was so delicious that I couldnât help scraping the bowl and wishing for more. I also had a side of sautĂ©ed chicory with garlic that was light yet savory without being overly oily or clumpy as greens tend to do. Red house wine and a coffee made me so so happy. I asked if they didnât have a bed available so I could nestle into the sense of warmth and fullness the meal gave me. When I was leaving Peppe, who was NOT my server but took my bill, used my name when he told me goodbye. WHAT?! Thatâs something! Btw, the woman seated next to me said she was back for the pesto because it had âchanged her lifeâ and I believe her.
