A real treat for seafood lovers, this dish is very popular at our restaurant.

garlic (2 cloves)
extra virgine olive oil
3/4 baby octopus
150g canned or fresh cherry tomatoes
A fistful of black "Gaeta" olives
Boil the baby octopus in water, pay attention not to cook them thoroughly, they will finish cooking in the tomato. Drain and set aside. Prepare the base of the sauce by heating some olive oil in a pan, then adding garlic, chili pepper and whole black "Gaeta" olives. Once the garlic is golden in color, add the octopus and let it sizzle for about 6/7 minutes. At this point add the canned cherry tomatoes, salt, stir and let it cook for about 15 minutes. Serve hot with some freshly chopped parsley on top.
